Sister Dolores Jean Schmidt is a saint, literally. All of Loyola’s campus has known this for years, but now with Loyola’s Cinderella run to the Sweet 16, the whole country knows it, too. Plus if you ask her, she’ll say she’s known internationally as well.
So, Papa Frank, please consider this as my formal letter to get Sister Jean canonized.
The process to become a saint can take decades or even centuries, so I thought we should get the process started now. The process is long and complicated, but it includes a lifetime of service to God and the candidate has to have performed two miracles.
