Following their victory over Saint Mary’s College last weekend, LMU women's volleyball won their second conference match against the University of the Pacific on Saturday Sept. 9. The Lions carried out a convincing victory, winning three sets to none.
LMU appeared comfortable as a team throughout the game — outperforming the Pacific Tigers in every major statistical category. With 36 team kills for the Lions compared to 24 for the Tigers, and 33 team assists for LMU versus 21 for Pacific. The Lions also showed an impressive defense in this match, with 27 digs and nine blocks, compared to Pacific's 22 digs and six blocks.
