Going on the road to North Ridge, California, the LMU beach volleyball team (18-11) was victorious in both matches against California State University Bakersfield (5-12) and California State University Northridge (14-6). These victories make it a three game winning streak for the team before going to Long Beach to face off against No. 6 ranked Long Beach on Sunday. The duo of graduate senior McKayla Ferris and sophomore Savannah Slattery was particularly dominant in these matches, as they picked up a pair of three-set victories on court one in the wins, with a 17-21, 21-17, 15-5 win over Sydney Haynes/Emily Hansen of CSUB.
