Sophomore outside hitter Rose Booth made a huge impact last year in her rookie season with women’s volleyball, recording over three kills per set and opening the season with six consecutive games with double-digit kills. Assistant Sports Editor Ellie Kinney caught up with Booth and discussed this season’s postponement, offseason training and the team’s new favorite hobby.
Ellie Kinney (E.K.): It was announced in August that the fall sports season will be postponed. What was your reaction when you heard the news?
Rose Booth (R.B.): I think our team did a really good job with preparing for all of the options that the NCAA had talked about, but obviously we were all pretty heartbroken.
