Before Donovan Mitchell arrived on the University of Louisville’s campus, the highly-touted guard from Greenwich, Conn. had received plenty of praise from Rick Pitino. The Cardinals men’s basketball coach compared Mitchell’s character to former Cardinal point guard Peyton Siva.
“Any time I say he has the character of Peyton Siva, you know obviously what I think. That’s about as high a grade as I can give anyone’s character,” Pitino said after Mitchell signed with U of L.
