Following the lead of teammates Jordan Nwora and Steven Enoch, Louisville rising senior V.J. King has declared himself eligible for the 2019 NBA Draft. Like Nwora and Enoch, King has the ability to go through the pre-draft process but still elect to return to school before the May 29 deadline.
King’s junior season was a disappointing one. He began the year as a starter but slowly saw his playing time and production dwindle. He played his best basketball of the season in the closing weeks, but still finished with averages of just 3.9 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
