By Phillip Lentsch–
The University of Louisville faculty senate held their Oct. 5 meeting today, where they discussed several pertinent issues surrounding U of L, including the current makeup of the board of trustees.
Senate chair Enid Trucios-Haynes presented the recent Student Government Association resolution that demanded Gov. Matt Bevin to appoint the necessary racial minorities to the current board of trustees.
“I think we need to create a statement of our own saying that we support the students and to tell the Governor to take further actions to bring the board fully in compliance with the resolution,” senator Beth Willey said.
