Jordan Nwora didn't mince his words when he was asked how he might make an immediate impact on Louisville's 2017-18 basketball team.
"I definitely can help out, shooting-wise," Nwora said. "I know that's something that we need."
That will be music to coach Rick Pitino's ears: Louisville shot 45.7 percent from the field as a team, a figure that ranked 103rd out of 351 in Division I college basketball, and the Cards made 35.5 percent from 3-point range. Their offense improved as the season progressed, but the Cards entered the offseason hoping the incoming signing class would provide much-needed offensive firepower.
