Trevon Young Named ACC Defensive Lineman Of The Week For Second Straight Time

Louisville Cardinal senior defensive end Trevon Young has been named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the week for the second consecutive week.

Young initially with the Cards while Charlie Strong was still the head coach and enrolled early in the winter of 2013. Had the Iowa native not enrolled early, he may have ended up signing elsewhere, considering Strong left for Texas

Young has a total of eight sacks in Louisville’s previous three games. Below is an excerpt from TheACC.com.

Louisville’s Trevon Young was named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week for the second week in a row following his performance in the Cardinals’ win at Wake Forest, while Virginia safety Quin Blanding was tabbed as Defensive Back of the Week following his effort in the Cavaliers’ win over visiting Georgia Tech.
