University spokesman John Karman confirmed last night that Ladybirds head coach Todd Sharp has been dismissed from his position. Sharp held the job for 16 years and led the way to numerous national titles, along with staring in a reality television show.
Besides Karman saying the termination occurred due to a “personal matter,” there are no other details regarding Sharp’s removal at this time.
Sharp joins a growing line of long-term coaches that have recently departed the University. Just last week, Ken Lolla resigned from his position of 13 years coaching men’s soccer.
