The Louisville Cardinals will be the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament at Slugger Field this upcoming week. It was a bit of an odd way in which it happened. Saturday night, the Cardinals were scheduled to play the Florida State Seminoles at 7:30 p.m., but the game was cancelled due to a rainout. Since there will be no make-up date, Louisville (23-6) was able to clinch the No. 1 seed over North Carolina (23-7).
With the No. 1 seed, the Cardinals will not play until Thursday night against Notre Dame, who claimed the No. 12 seed.
