Thoughts: Lamar played well last year on special teams and as the starting fullback for the majority of the season. I’ve always liked what Lamar has brought to the table since his RS Freshman season but as a fullback he always seemed to lack the “blow people up” attribute (that’s the technical term). While playing fullback Atkins blocked just fine and he was an okay weapon out of the backfield but I wasn’t over the top excited with him at the position.
