Anyone who followed Louisville basketball during Terry Rozier’s two seasons with the program heard or read at least one story about how the Ohio native grew up idolizing Dwyane Wade.
While all of his friends were worshiping LeBron James, Rozier was modeling his early game after Wade. He dribbled like Wade, he shot floaters like Wade, he even practiced falling like Wade.
“Man, just to think back, like, I was one of the craziest D. Wade fans ever,” Rozier said in 2016. “People don’t understand. I don’t really want to get into it too much until the day he leaves the game.
