Game 2-
The circle: Syracuse pitcher AnnaMarie Gatti was downright dominant and silenced the Cardinal hitters. Louisville struggled to get the ball out of the infield against the sophomore. Gatti pitched a complete game two-hitter and kept her infielders busy. 18 of Gatti’s 21 outs were ground outs.
Bases cleared: With the bases loaded in the third inning, Syracuse third baseman Hannah Dossett hit a double to score three runs and give the Orange a 3-0 lead.
