SAB brought the world together in style for the fourteenth annual International Fashion Show. Held on Jan. 27, the show was produced by SAB’s diversity committee and featured clothing and performances that highlighted different cultures.
From hip hop routines K-pop dances, several cultures were given recognition. The nearly sold out show used both fashion and dance to bring awareness to social justice and cultural problems from around the world.
Minority and underrepresented groups were the stars of the show, showcasing the issues faced within their respective cultures. The Black Lives Matter movement, feminism, sex trafficking, marriage equality and clean water initiatives were among many subjects covered.
