Kyle Kuric was definitely the feel-good story of the NBA Summer League, as he battled back from three brain surgeries over the past year. The Phoenix Suns gave Kuric a chance this summer, but it was ultimately a no-win situation for him as the Suns already have a young and talented roster. The more surprising news is that Kuric supposedly turned down a contract offer from Golden State.
CBS Sports reported today that, “Kuric reportedly turned down a partially-guaranteed offer to join the Warriors for training camp in order to re-sign with the Spanish club. The former Louisville guard has persevered through multiple brain surgeries to remove a tumor in order to keep his professional basketball career alive, but it doesn’t look as though he’ll be appearing on an NBA roster anytime soon”
