University of Louisville president James Ramsey released a statement earlier today regarding the NCAA’s investigation into the men’s basketball program’s sex scandal.
Ramsey, 66, released a 174-word statement before he met with the school’s board of trustees. In the statement, he showed support for Cardinals’ athletic director Tom Jurich. He did not, though, mention Louisville men’s basketball head coach Rick Pitino; a possibly telling move considering Pitino’s role in all of this.
President Ramsey has issued this statement on the scandal. Now told he won’t make remarks during the mtg.
