Report: Scott Satterfield to be named Louisville Football head coach Tuesday

Louisville Athletic Director, Vince Tyra and Scott Satterfield both haven’t officially announced the hiring and subsequent terms but Jake Lourim of Louisville’s Courier Journal, and multiple outlets are confirming the news.

Satterfield played at Appalachian State from 1991-1995, and from 1999-2008 filled a variety of offensive assistant roles. Satterfield also spent time as a position coach at Toledo and one season as the offensive coordinator of Florida International University in 2011. He returned as the Offensive Coordinator at his alma mater in 2012 and was named the Head Coach the following year following the retirement of long time head man Jerry Moore.
