It appears that there will be turnover on the University of Louisville basketball staff for the fifth consecutive year.
ESPN’s college basketball insider Jeff Goodman reports that UofL director of video operations Doug Davenport will head to Richmond, KY., to join Dan McHale’s staff at Eastern Kentucky.
McHale recently accepted the job at EKU and was previously serving as an assistant coach for Richard Pitino at Minnesota. He was a staff assistant for Rick Pitino at Louisville from 2001-03.
Davenport isn’t the only one with Louisville ties that will head to Richmond. Goodman reports that former Louisville star and current Bellarmine assistant Reece Gaines will also join the EKU staff.
