Louisville big man Chinanu Onuakua is expected to miss Thursday night’s game against the Puerto Rican national team, due to an altercation that took place following Wednesday night’s loss.
Nanu reportedly had a run-in with Puerto Rican point guard J.J. Berea while the two teams were shaking hands following Puerto Rico’s 96 -62 win over the Cardinals.
Berea left Tuesday night’s game with what appeared to be a minor injury. He didn’t play on Wednesday, but sat on the bench during the game. According to a few different people in attendance, Berea was very vocal during Puerto Rico’s blowout win.
