Coming off a bye week and two consecutive wins, Louisville fell to eleventh-ranked Florida State 41-21. The Cardinals led 7-6 at halftime and took a 14-13 lead early in the third quarter, but were dominated throughout the second half by the undefeated Seminoles.
Dalvin Cook: The Cardinal defense faced one of the best running backs in the country, Dalvin Cook, who was averaging over 150 yards per game. The sophomore was held to nine yards in the first half, but erupted in the second half. On Florida State’s opening drive in the second half, Cook scored from 54 yards to give the Seminoles a 14-13 lead.
