There’s been a lot going on around the Louisville football program since November 24th, 2018 when the Cards were destroyed on their home field by arch-nemesis Kentucky, finishing their down spiral of season at 2-10, the worst record since going 1-10 in 1997.
Since then there’s been a new head coach announced, a new culture promise, a brand new staff, a new recruiting class featuring 14 high school signees and three graduate transfers, new spring football traditions established, and of course the highly talked about roster changes including 12 scholarship players transferring to other schools.
Heading into Summer workouts and post-spring football for most of the other programs across the country, Louisville will have upwards of 6-10 scholarships to use on graduate transfers or traditional sit out transfers to provide depth where it is currently lacking on the roster or in preperation of the 2020-2021 season and beyond shall they choose to.
