The Louisville Basketball program has had a lot of success over the past four years. A national title, two final four’s, a Sweet 16 and an Elite 8 is a four year stretch that most programs would kill for.
With that said, the success in the college ranks hasn’t necessarily translated to the pro level. At this point, Russ Smith and Gorgui Dieng are the only two former Louisville players on an NBA roster.
That will change when Montrezl Harrell and Terry Rozier hear their name called during Thursday night’s NBA Draft. Both players are likely to be taken in the first round.
