University of Louisville president James Ramsey issued a statement on Thursday evening regarding the men’s basketball program’s recent sex scandal.
As you could expect, Ramsey maintained the university of aware of the allegations and that they and the NCAA are investigation. Strangely, Ramsey mentioned Tom Jurich, but did not mention Rick Pitino in his statement.
“As was stated last week, when we learned of the allegations toward our men’s basketball team, we immediately hired Chuck Smrt of the Compliance Group to undertake a complete and thorough investigation of the alleged misconduct.
