On Monday afternoon Rick Pitino and his staff extended a scholarship offer to one of the top prospects in the state of Kentucky.
David Sloan, a 6-foot, point guard out of Taylor County High School in Campbellsville, KY., broke the news of his recent offer from Louisville via his Twitter account.
Sloan is a member of the 2017 class, which means he still has two years of high school left. Louisville is the first “big time” offer for Sloan, but I can promise you it wont’ be his last.
The three-star prospect had a huge sophomore season and played a huge role in Taylor County’s trip to the 2015 KY Sweet 16 Tournament.
