Mariya Moore sees the floor better than any player Jeff Walz has ever coached, and she found fellow sophomore Myisha Hines-Allen early and often during Louisville’s 88-66 win over UT-Martin on Monday at the KFC YUM! Center.
Moore finished with 11 points, nine assists and five rebounds while four of her first five assists were to Hines-Allen, who finished with a team-high 13 points.
“We play off each other very well,” Moore said. “When I see her (Hines-Allen) out of the corner of my eye, I know what block she is going to and I have to focus on how I pass it to her because if I get it to her in the right way she will finish.
