Former Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell will officially transition from amateur status to professional status on June, 25, when he hears his name called in the NBA Draft.
Harrell could’ve turned pro last year, but decided to return to UofL for his junior season. Despite being a lock for the first round of the 2014 draft, the Tarboro, N.C., native returned to improve his game for one more year of collegiate play.
Some may say that the decision to return wasn’t a smart one, considering Harrell’s draft projections are around the same area this year as they were last year.
