It took a little longer than expected, but former Auburn/Louisville running back Michael Dyer has signed with an NFL Team.
Bill Williamson of ESPN.com was the first to report that Dyer has signed with the Oakland Raiders after his appearance as a tryout player at their minicamp.
Dyer transferred to Louisville in the summer of 2013 and was a member of the program for two years. He ran for 704 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 career games as a Cardinals. The Arkansas native missed ten games in two seasons with injuries.
The former BCS national title game MVP didn’t hit his stride until the second half of his senior season.
