By Taylor Webster–
Fifth-ranked men’s soccer (9-1-2) beat FAU 5-0, extending their unbeaten streak to seven matches. Senior Mohamed Thiaw connected for his first career hat trick and now has six goals on the season.
Senior Tim Kubel scored his fifth goal of the season and added an assist. Kubel suffered an injury in the match.
“Right now it looks like it’s a bruise,” coach Ken Lolla said. “We’ll see how quickly he recovers and we’re hopeful that he’ll be ready for UNC.
