While most of us were at home on the couch watching the men’s basketball team pull off another close victory versus Georgia Tech our men and women’s swim and dive teams had a big matchup. The 10th ranked Cardinals had minimal trouble dispatching rival Kentucky on January 23. The men won 200-100 and the women won 190-110.
Head coach Arthur Albiero was pleased with the energy and intensity the Cards brought with them from the get-go. The teams were far from perfect, according to Albiero, but were more than enough to overwhelm the Wildcats.
