According to multiple reports, Minnesota transfer Marcus Carr has canceled his planned visit to Louisville next week and will decide between transferring to Texas and accepting a professional deal to play in Australia.
Carr has been rated all offseason by multiple college hoops writers as the top potential transfer available on the market, and for good reason.
After playing for Pitt in 2017-18, Carr transferred to Minnesota where he was a star in each of his two seasons with the Gophers. He broke the school’s single-season assist record as a sophomore in 2019-20, and leaves as the program’s career leader in assists per game.
