Louisville women’s basketball picked to win ACC

The U of L women’s basketball team is the preseason pick to win the ACC by both the league’s coaches and members of the media.

The Cardinals earned the preseason distinction by earning 13 out of a possible 15 first-place vote from the ACC’s coaches, and 45 of the 57 first-place votes cast by the media.

Louisville’s Dana Evans, the reigning ACC Player of the Year, was the runaway choice as the league preseason POY, earning 12 of the 15 votes cast for the distinction.
