The top-seeded Louisville baseball team will begin its 2015 ACC Tournament run against No. 8 seed North Carolina on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Tar Heels defeated No. 9 seed Virginia Tech 5-3 on Tuesday to advance into the main draw of the tournament.
The Cardinals (42-14, 25-5) did not face UNC (33-22, 13-16) during the regular season. U of L will send freshman righthander Sean Leland to the bump to try and begin the postseason with a victory.
North Carolina has won the ACC Tournament six times, more than any program in the conference outside of Clemson and Georgia Tech, which have each won it nine times.
