The Ladybirds Dance Team won the Division IA hip-hop today after being named national champions in the overall Division IA team performance division today at the NCA/NDA National Championships in Daytona Beach. The double title for the Ladybirds is the first in school history.
The Ladybirds edged Brigham Young when they put up a 9.749 just ahead of the Cougars' 9.691.
In all, the University of Louisville spirit program brought home five national championship titles this weekend which is the most ever for any school in the history of the championship for any single year.
