According to Brad Winton of JUCORecruiting.com, Rick Pitino and the Louisville basketball program will host Jaylen Barford on an official visit this weekend.
Barford is 6-foot-3, combo guard out of Motlow State Community College. Per his 247 Sports profile, Barford doesn’t currently hold a scholarship offer from Pitino’s staf yet, but assistant coach Kenny Johnson has been actively involved in his recruitment for the past few weeks.
The Jackson, Tennessee, native took an official visit to Arkansas this past weekend. Barford’s final five originally included Arkansas, Memphis, Missouri, Ole Miss and Xavier, but he’s made it clear that Louisville is definitely in the mix.
