Louisville rolls past Kent State, 13-6, in NCAA tournament opener

Logan Wyatt hit a grand slam in the first inning and a three-run homer in the second to lead Louisville to a 13-6 win over Kent State in the first game of the NCAA tournament opener for both Friday night in Lubbock, TX.

With the win, the Cardinals will face host and No. 9 overall seed Texas Tech Saturday at 8 p.m. The Red Raiders rolled past New Mexico State 9-2 earlier in the day on Friday.
