Louisville RB Jeremy Smith will transfer to another school to spend his final year of collegiate eligibility.
Smith’s father, Craig Williams, told the Courier Journal Monday night that Smith has no ill-will toward U of L, he just wants to spend his final college season as an every down back somewhere. He did not think that opportunity would be available to him next season with the Cardinals.
Williams said his son had only good experiences at Louisville but is seeking a chance to earn more playing time as an every-down back.
“He doesn’t want anything negative,” Williams said.
