Despite not currently having a head coach, Louisville still managed to land a commitment from class of 2020 quarterback Patrick Roberg on Tuesday afternoon.
Roberg, a pro-style quarterback out of Westlake Village (Calif.), finished his sophomore season at Westlake with 1,158 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in just six games.
Louisville was the first school to offer Roberg, who has also been courted by West Coast powers like USC, UCLA and Oregon. He attended U of L’s “Light up the Ville” recruiting event in July. Most recently, Roberg took an unofficial visit to Oregon State last weekend to watch the Beavers host USC.
