Despite failing to cover the spread in each of its last two games against inferior competition, the Louisville football team is almost a two-touchdown favorite for Saturday's home game against Syracuse. The Cards opened as a 12-point favorite for the game, a spread which has since moved to UofL-13.5.
Louisville is 3-1 as a favorite this season, with their lone upset loss coming at the hands of Houston on Sept. 12. The Cardinals are 1-3 as an underdog, with a 20-13 upset win at NC State on Oct. 3.
Syracuse, which enters this week riding a five-game losing streak, will be playing their sixth straight game as an underdog.
