Round four between the Cards’ and Cats’ club ice hockey teams this season was the second to go into overtime. The first time around the score ended in a tie at 4-4. In the second matchup this season featuring sudden death Louisville pulled off a goal to go out on top 5-4.
Celebrating senior day and the final regular season game, stakes were high for the #9 Louisville Cardinals (Southeast Region, Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League). The Cards finished in the TSCHL at 10-2, second to Ohio University, who finished 13-1. By finishing in the top two in UofL received a first round bye in the tournament.
