With one scholarship left for next season, Rick Pitino and his staff are certainly keeping their options open. Maverick Rowan, a 6-foot-7 swing man from the 2016 class has been the main target since the commitment from Damion Lee.
Pitino and staff are hoping Rowan will reclassify and join the program in 2015, but it’s still unclear if he’ll be able to do that. At this point, I’d say Rowan is still the top priority, but a new name has surfaced on the Louisville staff’s radar.
According to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com, Louisville is one of the many programs that has reached out to LaGerald Vick, a 6-foot-5, shooting guard, from Memphis, TN.
