After decommitting from Boston College on June 1st, the vibe all along was that Kani Walker would eventually join Louisville football’s class; but it came with the caveat that it might not happen right away. That all changed when the three-star cornerback decided to shut it down and pledge his commitment to Scott Satterfield and company on Wednesday.
The Douglas County, GA native is currently ranked as the 821st-best prospect in the 2021 class (247Sports Composite) and the 70th-best player at the cornerback position.
Walker chose the Cardinals over several other power five programs including Boston College, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, NC State, amongst others.
