Louisville football enters its penultimate match-up of the regular season as a nine point favorite against Syracuse. However, Orange faithful and those around the program still believe in their team’s abilities and feel they have a real chance of making a bowl game.
That will have to begin with a win in hostile territory when Syracuse visits Louisville for senior day on Saturday.
The Cardinals’ unexpected turnaround has been well-documented. Louisville was expected to see a year of serious rebuilding under first-year head coach Scott Satterfield after Bobby Petrino was fired mid-season in 2018 amid Louisville’s lowliest year in school history.
