The Louisville football team will be without two players for the remainder of the 2020 football season, according to reports.
On Monday morning, a report surfaced that Thurman Geathers, a redshirt sophomore outside linebacker, and junior safety Trenell Troutman have opted out of the Louisville football season. These reports originated from Chris Person of Rivals.com.
Person originally reported that a linebacker was opting out of the season on Twitter. You can read that tweet and more here (subscription required).
The report from Rivals was confirmed by Cameron Teague of the Courier Journal that the linebacker who opted out was, in fact, Thurman Geathers.
