Of all the positions expected to be easy for Louisville and Bobby Petrino's new staff to easily recruit, I don't think anyone thought one would be safety. However, Louisville landed a solid set of safeties in 2015 in Dee Smith and Khane Pass and now for 2016 added a commitment from Rivals 250 safety Jaquelle Green to an already talented group of defensive back commitments for 2016.
Green is the latest in what is becoming a rather long list of Alabama and Mississippi prospects to opt for the Cardinals over other Power 5 offers. 247Sports lists him as a composite three-star prospect (Scout also lists him as a three-star safety while ESPN and Rivals both have him a four-star player).
