A fourth assistant is making an offseason move away from the Louisville football program.
Following in the footsteps of Dwayne Ledford, Frank Ponce and Norvan McKenzie is safeties coach ShaDon Brown, who is headed to West Virginia to serve as the Mountaineers’ defensive coordinator. At WVU, Brown will replace Jahmile Addae, who left to become the safeties coach at Georgia last week.
Prior two his two-year stint under Scott Satterfield, Brown spent two seasons at Colorado. He was the safeties coach for the Buffaloes for a year before being promoted to defensive passing game coordinator.
Brown also spent time as a head coach at Rowan County High School in Kentucky from 2008-10.
