Just chalk this week in Louisville football history up to Murphy’s law. Whatever could go wrong lately, has.
Despite the heroic efforts of athletic director Vince Tyra, Louisville football is going to have a long road ahead to building the program the right way. After a disappointing decision by Louisville’s number one head coaching decision, Jeff Brohm, to turn down Tyra’s offer, Louisville players who were seemingly on the fence about transferring away from the program are much more likely to be looking elsewhere.
That was the case on Sunday morning when 2018 captain and team leader Jon Greenard was reported to be leaving the program.
