Louisville football recruiting has been struggling to get the level of commitments that they have received in years past for the 2019 class.
Things look like they may be picking up this week, however, after Bobby Petrino and staff landed rising 3-star 2019 defensive tackle Denzel Daxon.
Daxon- who grew up a Miami football fan, and committed last October- de-committed from the Hurricanes last weekend, and pledged his allegiance to the Cards one week later.
Daxon’s journey has been an unusual one. Born in the Bahamas, Daxon grew up not having a place to play organized football; Only getting a chance to watch a Florida-based school play on TV now and again.
