Since the turn of the century, Louisville football has had a meteoric rise from irrelevancy to a national contender year in and year out.
However, that would not have been possible without the contributions of some pretty incredible players. Two BCS bowl game victories, top ten national rankings, and a half dozen conference championships have been made possible by the recruiting and development of some of the best players in the country.
Since 2000, Louisville has twice expanded its stadium, jumped from Conference USA to the Big East to the AAC to the ACC. Along the way, the talent has improved, but so has the competition.
