Louisville’s loss to Kentucky dropped the Cardinals from No. 10 to No. 14 in the latest installment of the College Football Playoff Rankings, which were released Tuesday night on ESPN.
U of L will play for the ACC championship on Saturday night against an undefeated Florida State team that checked in at No. 4 in the latest rankings. The Seminoles, presumably, are in a “win and they’re in” situation as it pertains to the College Football Playoff.
Here are the full rankings as we head into conference championship weekend:
- Georgia
- Michigan
- Washington
- Florida State
- Oregon
- Ohio Stata
- Texas
- Alabama
- Missouri
- Penn State
- Ole Miss
- Oklahome
- LSU
- Louisville
- Arizona
- Iowa
- Notre Dame
- Oklahoma State
- NC State
- Oregon State
- Tennessee
- Tulane
- Clemson

- Kansas State
With a win over Florida State, Louisville would ruin Florida State’s playoff chances and lock up the ACC’s bid to the Orange Bowl.
